Day 5 - Italy to Slovenia

The campsite in Bruneck was by a very busy main road but the people were friendly and the wifi was ok, power sockets were not available but the owner was kind enough to let me charge my batteries in the shop overnight. The day started with a lot of coughing and spluttering but at least the bike was running ok! The intense coughing periodically woke me up throughout the night, I'm very tired but despite this must press on. I'm still feeling positive and buoyed up by where I am. How lucky am I to even be here?

.....Bike checked, I should get away without a chain adjustment today. It was my first early(ish) start and it only took a couple of hours to pack! Result! I left the campsite at about 9.00 am, I was pleased. I'm getting used to the weight and I have now developed a successful technique for mounting and dismounting.

Heading south and east, warm sun above, minimal traffic, lovely sweepers, countless twisties beautiful vistas and even a little stretch on some dirt, the ride was sublime. I wish I could spend more time here.
